Alex's Great Grandfather was Stanislaw Matthew who was born in 1801 in Lithuania.
In 1840, Stanislaw Matthew Montvilla married Alexandra Dovgiallo .
Over the next 10 years, they had 3 daughters and 4 sons:

- Zofia (1848-1933)

- Aleksander (1845-1908)
- Wincenty (1846-1903)
- Jozef (1850-1911)
Stanislaw and Alexandra are buried in the cemetery in the town of Šėta.
Miteniškės manor
In 1840, Alexandra Dovgiallo married with Stanislaw Matthew Montvilla and brought the Mitėniškės manor as dowry.
In addition to the manor, the family also owned granges:
- Šėta
- Pauliukai (in polish Pawluki)
- Pakščiai ( in polish) Pakście
As well as a water mill in Pakščiai.
Around 1890, the mansion was rebuilt to accommodate a modern farm.
One of the first wind turbines in Lithuania was built near the manor. It worked uo to 1960.
Wladislaw (1885-1942) & Maria Montvila
The last owners of the Mitėniškiai manor, their grandson Wladislaw Montvila (1885-1942) and his wife Maria (1910-2002), were exiled to Siberia. Wladislaw died in Siberia. Maria managed to escape from the deportees' wagon.
During the war, Maria lived in Mitėniškės, and later moved to Germany. After 1950, she moved to the United States of America and died in 2002 in New York.
In 1941, the estate was nationalized. Communal housing was built there, followed by a store and a community center. In the late 1970s the mansion was demolished. Only the barn, carriage house and several outbuildings have survived to this day.
